SCOTT & NICOLE'S WEDDING HIGHLIGHTS

It's the end of August and one of the hottest days of the year. But the heat doesn't take away from the joy that the families of Scott and Nicole feel about their wedding day. This is just a small sample of the 63 minute "Story of the Day" we produced for them. Thank you both for giving us the honor to produce your DVD. Our beautiful niece, Lindsey married Brent at a breathtaking riverside rural Christmas Tree Farm this past summer. Perfect Oregon weather, too! Marti took some excellent and creative photos. We loved seeing family and meeting new family. Certainly was a storybook day.

RYAN & REBECCA'S WEDDING DAY

Ryan & Becky had a circus/carnival themed wedding day. A huge event with a mime, juggler, live band, photo booth and lots of carnival booths for games and food - even cotton candy! A splendid time was had by all. It was great working with Breshears Photography again. And thanks to Mitch from FocalPoint Marketing, for bringing his steadi-cam to give us those beautiful, sweeping shots. This is a short 14 minute snippet of the nearly 90 minute movie of their day. A music video set to the song "Keep on Dancing Till The World Ends" for Turning Pointe Dance Academy in Kennewick, WA. This was rehearsals for the "On The Radio" recital held in June 2011. All the girls(and guys) were great sports and we at EVM Productions had a blast shooting this. Thanks also to Marla, Pam and all the instructors for allowing us to get in their way during practice! A full DVD of all the recital performances is being produced and will be available late July.

MY FRIENDS PLACE "TELLING THEIR STORIES"

This is a video produced to give awareness of the homeless situation in the Mid-Columbia region of Washington State. The goal is also to try to gather support for an overnight shelter for youth called "My Friends Place". Putting this together was an eye opening experience for me. I had no idea what is going on right here and what they have to go through. There was alot of shocking information told on camera that didn't end up in the story, due to its graphic nature, but unfortunately, its happening all the time.

It was early October, and it was a rainy day, which added to an elegant day for Colby and Jessica. The church was beautiful as was Jessica's dress. The reception was an exquisitely decorated by the team from Agape Events. Jesse and Brian from Platinum Entertainment provided the music and colorful up-lighting. Thank you to the couple for allowing us to be a part of their day and also for letting us come to the Seattle area to put together their story on DVD.

We had the honor of being a part of our friends Ryan and Dana on their very special day. Stoneridge in Pasco, WA was where the magic happened. This is a short version and a small piece of the 45 minute "Feature Film" of the day. We worked with our friends at Platinum Entertainment. Brian did a great job once again getting everyone up and dancing. Eric from Essence Photography took some fantastic photos. We went downtown with the wedding party and had a great time getting images on the sidewalks and streets. Thank you to Ryan and Dana for your patience in letting us "experiment" with your DVD. A new chapter in their lives as well as ours!

On the last day of July, we had the honor to shoot the wedding of Amy and Brandon in Kennewick. Photos were taken down at Columbia Park and the ceremony was at St. Josephs. They must have known everyone in town, because the reception was packed with guests! Brian from Platinum Entertainment, as always, put on a great show for everyone. And the 1001 Origami Crane tree put together by the couple was absolutely beautiful. The perfect summer celebration. At Jackie's parents beautiful home on the shores of the Columbia River in mid-July. After the ceremony at the church, the wedding party and guests danced into the night to the DJ sounds of Rick, Jackie's father. He put on a great show and entertained everyone! And I have to vote the best speech of all the weddings we've done this year goes to the Maid of Honor, Britney. Thanks to the families for being so nice and easy to work with. What can we say about this day? If you could define what a celebration was, this was it! Lots of dancing, speeches, traditions, music, even bagpipes! Zeina and Robert are were so cooperative and happy to accommodate us with whatever our requests were. It was our first time working with Lindsay Beebe Photography. But we know her as a former bride who we videotaped a couple years back. She was great. Thank you to everyone who made our day fun and easy.

Even though it was Tristan's mom's wedding, she was the bell of the ball! Tristan came over during the dancing and asked if her mom could take over filming so she could dance with Marti. I guess if you know Marti, she shut that camera off and they danced! This little short video is from Marti for Tristan. Hope you enjoy it.

For the third time this year, we traveled to the Prosser/Grandview area for this picturesque event. This outdoor wedding was held at Lisa's parents home, snuggled in the middle of acres and acres of vineyards. Her parents were gracious hosts and made us feel at home. Bret helped me shoot this and he took some beautiful shots of the estate. A huge tent with chandeliers in the yard for the reception. All planned out by Renae at Agape Events. H(yes that's his name), looked like he was having the time of his life all day long! It was warm but it didn't bother the bride and groom. H even helped to shade Lisa's face during the ceremony! Again we had the privilege and pleasure of working with Platinum Entertainment and Breshear's Photography.

FATHER DAUGHTER BALL

For two nights the TRAC was sold out for the annual Father Daughter Ball hosted by Calvary Chapel. Renae from Agape Events and Wendy and Friends along with their team from the church did an amazing job. It was so fun seeing girls all dressed up for the night and dancing with their dads. Truly a magical night. This video we produced gives you an idea just what a special evening it really was.

We love doing out of town ceremonies! New faces, places and always lots and lots of fun! This is our fourth wedding in Moses Lake and it was, once again, a blast for us! Karen had everything planned out perfectly down to the last detail. And what a reception! DJ & MC Tony Schwartz had his work cut out for him with games and speeches and all kinds of great activities. And we loved working with Colleen Donovan, the photographer, who made it fun for everyone with her creativity. Our first wedding in June of 2010. A beautiful church wedding with three solo performances by family and friends! Both bride and groom were amazingly calm the whole day, which made us all feel at ease. Loved the reception and once again Jesse from Platinum Entertainment got everyone up on the dance floor. He even had my two interns, Chris and Kagen, playing DJ for awhile! Greg had a great sense of humor and Rhonda looked beautiful.

The day almost didn't happen, as only a few weeks before, the venue closed and they had to scramble to get a new place to get married! It all worked out, and as you can see, things were perfect. Breshears Photography did their magic with beautiful, elegant pictures.

Our first big wedding of the year! It couldn't have been better. Dannan and Cody were so open to anything we asked them to do. Plus, they were just plain nice people. It was a bit windy, but the big tent pitched in the yard on Dannan's parents home, helped quite a bit. Thanks to Whitney Davis Photography for working with us. The ceremony was in the tent on a stage with everyone standing around them. Out in the country north of Prosser, WA. The beauty was breathtaking. A great start to a fantastic wedding season.

We had the best time yesterday shooting at Bella Fiori Gardens. Breanna and Steve were the calmest couple we have shot all Summer! Breanna's wedding dress was soooooooo beautiful.
